National Youth Commission NAYCOM on Thursday, 3rd June 2021 launched their FEMALE AND MALE OPERATING SMALL ENTERPRISES FAMOS “We Check” Action Report at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Aberdeen in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO).

The overall goal of the WE-Check Action report was to identify opportunities for improvement in the way in which NAYCOM can reach out to and serve both young women and male operated small enterprises.

The process examined three 3 key assessment areas of NAYCOMs entrepreneurship Programmes: a) Clients and Outreach b) Products and Services c) Strategies and Operations. The (3) three areas were assessed through a desk research, individual survey conducted with women entrepreneurs and other target clients and a series focus group discussions (FGD) with NAYCOM beneficiaries in Western Urban and Rural, Southern, Eastern and Northern Regions of Sierra Leone
